Reader Drusilla could use your prayers

She writes:
As many of you know, last Friday morning, I was awakened by chest pain and, when I realized I was having difficulty breathing and a few other symptoms which the medical literature considers serious, I went to the emergency room. I had already been scheduled for an angiogram on Tuesday, April 3rd after my cardiologist found a defect on a nuclear stress test. Instead of waiting until Tuesday, he (I went to the hospital with *my*doctors rather than the closer one where I am not known) performed the angiogram on Friday.

The good news is that my arteries are clear and I can eat butter (and have cream and cheese and eat cake too)! The bad news is that they do not know what is wrong with my heart. So, I am to take an aspirin a day, hie myself to the emergency room if the pain increases or if other syptoms become worse, see my rheumatologist and internist after Passover/Holy Week and allow myself to be stabbed and otherwise poked and prodded until there is an understanding of the problem.

Thank you all for your prayers and thank you to those of you who spread the word on Friday and came to retrieve me from hospital and called and have just cared for me in such loving fashion. I truly appreciate you and am so grateful that you are in my life. When I know more, I will update you all.

You can keep up to date here.
Father, grant healing and long life to your daughter Drusilla. Give skill to her doctors and fill her with peace as she faces this trial. Let her sufferings be united with Christ for the good of his Body, the Church. We ask this through through Christ our Lord. Amen.
